It’s that old saying of when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. For me, it was when you hit the ground with the side of your ankle really bloody hard, it’s time to start accepting the help that’s offered to you on your journey back to Pai and then to the states.
I’m starting to realise the platform that I have created for myself here with this blog.
It amazes me it’s outreach. The people I talk to that say “oh yeah, I read your blog”. A friend even told me that her mum reads it!
I’ve just come back into my lovely little reality from an amazing weekend away at a festival called Jai Thep.
All of us crazy pyromaniacs were invited to spin fire for the festival in exchange for a free ticket and a bit of food.
Oh wow, have I been busy!!
I’ll start with the fire aspect of my life. We had our big gala performance last Sunday which was a huge success. We estimated about 400 – 500 people were there, maybe more.
Happy new year everyone!!
So much has happened since
I have landed back in Thailand and I couldn’t be happier about it.
It started with a really shitty travel night. I left Melbourne airport at 7 pm and landed in Krabi, Thailand at 9 am the following morning with very little sleep in-between. My flights went Melbourne to Bali, where I had to recheck-in (so go through immigration, collect my bag and then go to the next flight), Bali to Bangkok to do the same thing again, then Bangkok to Krabi. It was a HUGE pain in the ass. But I made it.
